So thankful…

I am thankful for so many things. I am thankful that Dan feels good, is well and able to spend Thanksgiving with us (not at the hospital). I am thankful for our family and friends. I am thankful to have a nice house that keeps us warm while its so cold outside. I am thankful to everyone that has helped support us through our difficult times. I’m thankful for the great food we get to eat today.

God has blessed us in so many ways.

Doctor checkup

Dan went up to Seattle for a check up on Tuesday. He had to stay an extra day because they wanted to do a bronchoscopy on Wednesday. He then came home later that day after the procedure.

Last doctor appointment, they lowered his prednisone and that caused him to be a little short of breath. So the doctor had increased it back up. When they took the X-Ray this visit, there was a small area of concern, like a foggy area. So they decided to do the bronch. The bronch will say if there is any rejection or infection, but it takes awhile to get results, so no news yet.

Work (and regular life) causes me to be a little slow on getting posts done now…

My last weekend off work, we went to the woods and collected some pine cones and cut some wood. Dan wants to make a bench in memory of his brother, Jeff. So we got these huge, very heavy, chunks of wood for the bench. We had a good time, it’s always fun to play outside.

Two weekends ago we went with our friends to Hood River to pick apples. Once we got home we made a bunch of apple sauce too. It was great fun to do. Here are some pictures.
